Our Facilities

The Centre

The custom–built centre, which was opened by HRH The Princess Royal on 4 September, 1996, consists of a cabin (used by our riders and helpers), an indoor arena, an outdoor arena, loose boxes, hay store, paddocks and grazing fields for the 10 ponies based at our Centre.

An indoor arena has been erected over part of the existing outdoor arena, which enables our riders to participate in bad weather and allows several rides to be catered for at one time, as well as prolonging the riding season. In addition, it also maintains the continuity of training for both riders and volunteers.

In October 2011, we built a ‘warm’ room inside our indoor arena. This provides a warm, welcoming environment for all our riders, parents, teachers and carers.

We are currently open for riding sessions 5 days a week, either morning and/or evening sessions. Our season normally runs from March to mid December - depending on the weather and temperature.
